Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor commercial performance, including forecast vs baseline, KPIs, and trend analysis.
  • •Provide commercial assurance of change control, including scope/pricing, cost build-up, risk allowances, approvals, and audit trail.
  • •Plan and implement commercial close-out and rolling final account settlement.
  • •Manage quantified threats and opportunities and report net effects to scheme forecasts.
  • •Endorse and validate NEC4 ECC KPI definitions, measurement/evidence, and monthly submissions, including governance for pain/gain and incentive payments.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in commercial management across major construction programmes and projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction contracts, with NEC and/or JCT preferred.
  • •Excellent cost control, reporting, and collaboration skills.
  • •Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • •Professional membership (or working towards) RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
