Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion and related analog circuitry for motor control systems.
  • •Develop and support circuit card-level drafting and design, including board-mounted power end-use applications.
  • •Advance circuit card development through requirements definition and initial integration testing.
  • •Define and drive schedules for circuit-level tasking to address schedule concerns.
  • •Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities and assist with layer stackup definition.

Key Requirements

  • •Requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience.
  • •Experience designing, analyzing, testing, and/or simulating motor types such as brushed, BLDC, or PMSM.
  • •Experience with tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar.
  • •Analog electronics design experience including at least one of: FETs/BJTs, op-amp, filters (high/low/band pass), clock/data termination, and comparator circuits.
  • •Experience working in a lab setting using tools such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, frequency generators, power supplies, and/or Data Acquisition Systems.
