Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and work closely with 6–8 associates to meet safety, production, and quality expectations.
  • •Follow standard operating procedures for pipe fabrication, including measuring, recording, and handling random pipe lengths.
  • •Measure and cut pipe using band saw and/or torch, and perform rolling/grooving for single and double random lengths.
  • •Thread and bevel pipe using landis machines, assemble pipe orders, and maintain organized work supplies.
  • •Operate powered industrial equipment safely (OSHA and Ferguson procedures) and ensure pedestrian and equipment safety while maintaining inventory integrity.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in fabrication, pipe fittings, welding, or related experience (preferred).

  • •Superior math skills, including calculating quantities of product on hand.
  • •Previous training in using machines for cutting and threading pipe, plus knowledge of safe work practices in the pipe yard.
