Job Summary

Build Hygienic Fluid Handling Pumps, valves, and ASME-certified heat exchangers by fitting and welding carbon and stainless steel components from blueprints. Plan and perform welding using WPS/Weld Maps and specified processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW), complete quality checks, and run non-destructive testing such as liquid penetrant. Record quality data, repair components as needed, and participate in continuous improvement (ALPS, 5S, PRP, TPM) in an onsite day shift role.

Key Responsibilities

•Fit and weld ASME Code and structural work for pumps, valves, and pressure vessels using specified WPS and standards.
•Select equipment, plan layout/assembly/fit-up, lay out and position components, and perform welding operations per Weld Maps and customer requirements.
•Set up welding equipment and perform GTAW/GMAW/FCAW welding to specified quality standards.
•Perform quality checks and continuous inspection, identify and communicate non-conforming products, and complete liquid penetrant and other non-destructive testing as required.
•Maintain equipment and area (5S), record quality documentation/data, repair products by dismantling and reassembling, and participate in continuous improvement and cross-training to meet factory demands.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and minimum 5 years of ASME & pipe fitting experience fabricating pressure vessels using carbon and stainless steel materials.
•Experience with GTAW, GMAW, and FCAQ welding processes.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bill of materials, filler metal specifications, welding symbols, WPS, and PQRs.
•Ability to qualify and weld in 6G positions and perform basic computer skills.
•Associate degree in Welding Technology and/or manual welding certification preferred; ability to lift to 60 pounds and strong attention to detail and collaboration skills.
