Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership across critical domains by owning the design and evolution of large-scale, business-critical systems in the global financial platform.
  • •Set architectural direction through system design leadership, high-leverage technical decisions, and alignment on long-term technology strategy across teams.
  • •Operate across the full system lifecycle from discovery and architecture through production operations, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • •Raise the technical bar organization-wide by defining/evolving engineering standards, guiding design reviews, and mentoring senior engineers.
  • •Champion engineering excellence through testing strategies, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness to keep systems secure, compliant, and production-grade.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong technical foundation in computer science or a closely related discipline, through formal education and/or equivalent industry experience, with evidence of continuous learning.
  • •Extensive experience building and operating production systems at scale (often aligned with 10+ years), prioritizing demonstrated impact and judgement.
  • •Deep understanding of core computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and system design, with ability to apply them to high-scale problems.
  • •Proven ability to design, write, and evolve high-quality software in one or more modern programming languages with maintainability, performance, and operational robustness.
  • •Strong communication and influencing skills, including articulating complex technical ideas, building alignment, and constructively challenging assumptions.
