Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics on ground support equipment and MHE during turn-in processing.
  • •Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per Army maintenance standards and applicable TMs.
  • •Repair and service generators, power units, lighting units, hydraulic equipment, tow bars, jacks, and lifting devices; troubleshoot faults with Army-approved tools.
  • •Record maintenance and inspection results using DA forms and Army systems such as GCSS-Army, including condition code updates and audit-ready documentation.
  • •Follow OSHA/Army/company safety policies and coordinate with supply and material coordinators to ensure serviceability and documentation for turn-in.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining GSE or MHE in an Army or contractor environment.
  • •Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), and property accountability requirements.
  • •Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance (PMCS) and diagnose/repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Proficiency reading TMs, schematics, and maintenance work orders, with strong attention to detail for recordkeeping.
  • •Ability to operate forklifts/cranes or other MHE with proper licensing (OF 346 or equivalent).
