Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide enterprise customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on AWS, from initial architectural design through production deployment.
  • •Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments that meet complex AWS networking, identity, and security compliance requirements.
  • •Act as a subject matter expert across AWS infrastructure, IaC, cloud networking, and identity management.
  • •Collaborate in complex technical sales cycles by building custom PoC architectures and creating technical content on AWS.
  • •Support platform adoption by delivering tutorials, conducting hackathons, speaking at conferences, and contributing to the Databricks open-source community.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including cloud security, networking best practices, and enterprise data platform design.
  • •2+ years building distributed architectures and working with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
  • •2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, post-sales, or consulting).
  • •Deep specialized expertise in at least one area: AWS security & identity, AWS networking & deployments (e.g., VPC, Direct Connect, PrivateLink), platform administration (HA, DR, observability, cost management), or infrastructure automation (IaC).
  • •Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala and strong proficiency in SQL; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience.
