Job Summary

Join the SAR Payload System Engineering team as a Satellite Payload Electrical Engineer trainee, supporting the design, development, integration, and testing of electrical and electronic systems for satellite payloads. Contribute to power conditioning and distribution, power budgeting and efficiency analyses, and laboratory testing. Work through Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) troubleshooting while developing systems engineering and requirements management knowledge through the UAE Technology Transfer (ToK) program.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the design, analysis, and testing of satellite payload electrical subsystems.
•Contribute to power conditioning and distribution units, solar panels, batteries, wiring, harnesses, and connectors.
•Perform electrical performance analyses, including power budgets, load estimations, and energy efficiency assessments.
•Conduct laboratory testing of electrical and electronic equipment and support test plan implementation.
•Troubleshoot issues during Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) activities and prepare technical documentation.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Basic understanding of electrical systems, electronics testing, and engineering analysis.
•Ability to support electrical performance analysis such as power budgets, load estimations, and energy efficiency assessments.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
