Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients and provide ongoing service for fee income and retail banking products.
  • •Assess and update understanding of clients’ financial needs using profiling and personal financial planning analysis.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, and financial planning/investment trends and act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
  • •Drive revenue growth, profitability, and retention by developing new clients, expanding services, and marketing products; manage sales activity and pipeline in the contact management system.
  • •Coordinate integrated client service with internal IRM partners and advocate for clients while maintaining compliance within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients dealing with banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year as a financial client relationship manager).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment management/asset allocation concepts for the mass affluent market.
  • •Maintain active SIE and FINRA Series 7 and 66 (63 and 65 in lieu of 66) plus applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, and Variable), with timelines to obtain/transfer if needed.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
