Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential 1st mortgage loans for outside referrals from application through closing.
•Develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts).
•Maintain knowledge of mortgage company policies, loan products, processing procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
•Complete applications using Fannie Mae Form 1003 and use tools to access rates/credit, respond in Loan Prospector, and transmit loans to LOMAS.
•Manage the loan pipeline through closing, provide timely updates, and complete required management reports.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (four-year college degree preferred).
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
