Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and complete repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with training and equipment pick-up/delivery as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred (or ability to obtain within 6-12 months).
