Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage aircraft turnaround, including weight and balance, ramp operations, onboard loading, aircraft door operations, and onboard cabin safety and security support.
  • •Act as a liaison for third-party service providers, align resources with SLAs, and coordinate with Network Control to ensure on-time departures and manage disruption.
  • •Oversee load control for each flight, ensure cargo/mail inspection and correct loading of special loads (e.g., Dangerous Goods, Live Animals), and provide signed NOTOC to crew.
  • •Lead freighter-specific operations and performance targets, controlling and reporting GSE usage and identifying cost-reduction opportunities.
  • •Ensure aircraft security on the ground and in the air using required security checks and access control, and conduct regular Aircraft Turnaround Checks (ATCs) for global ground handlers’ safety and security competence.

Key Requirements

  • •Secondary school education desirable or significant relevant work experience as Loadmaster.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience with demonstrable experience in Loadmaster, airline cargo operations, ground handler operations, or a similar role in the military environment.
  • •Ability to manage load control functions and keep the aircraft within operational weight and balance limits.
  • •Experience coordinating ramp operations and aircraft servicing activities (external power, potable water, catering, toilet servicing).
  • •Ability to ensure cargo/mail inspections and correct loading of special loads, including Dangerous Goods and Live Animals, in line with company regulations.
