Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care by assessing needs, implementing and monitoring medical plans, and documenting patient condition and care according to standards and policies.
  • •Record vital signs, recognize and escalate abnormalities, and deliver nursing care that prioritizes patient safety and reduces healthcare errors.
  • •Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects and reactions, and manage procedures and care such as IV fluids/blood products and wound care.
  • •Prepare patients for examinations and treatment, support safe admission/transfer/discharge, and assist with emergency procedures including preparation for emergency surgeries.
  • •Perform essential nursing procedures (e.g., Basic Life Support, ECG, insertion of IV cannula, physical examinations) and maintain clinical competency, including evidence-based practice and required unit competencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
  • •Be willing to work across departments and on call when necessary.
  • •Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Provide nursing care within scope of practice and maintain professional re-licensure.
