Key Responsibilities

  • •Load separator to transfer chicks onto conveyor belts.
  • •Remove/stack counted chicks and place them into chick boxes; remove cleaned/ disinfected hatcher baskets and stack onto dollies.
  • •Clean and disinfect pull room, hatchers, and chick room; pull cleaned baskets down hall and place back in machine.
  • •Dump eggs into hopper; set into setter and pull from setter for egg set and egg transfer.
  • •Operate equipment as needed (e.g., high-pressure water hose/box washer) and maintain a clean, organized work area.
