Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and deepen relationships with cooperative purchasing vehicles, state procurement mechanisms, and schedule contract holders through ongoing outreach and engagement.
  • •Monitor vehicle utilization, identify underperforming or dormant vehicles, and track renewal timelines, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations.
  • •Identify and operationalize new procurement vehicles and acquisition pathways, including vehicle establishment roadmaps and onboarding/activation with Legal, Finance, and Contracts.
  • •Lead early operationalization of Nava’s NASPO ValuePoint agreement, including infrastructure/process planning and NASPO-specific go-to-market planning for the first 6–12 months.
  • •Provide per-territory acquisition recommendations integrated into capture plans, perform competitive vehicle analysis, and coordinate NASPO marketing/nurturing materials and performance reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •4–5 years in a procurement, contracts, business development, or government acquisition role with experience navigating public sector procurement mechanisms.
  • •Working knowledge of cooperative purchasing vehicles (NASPO ValuePoint, NCPA, SEWP, or state equivalents), schedule contracts, and state procurement authority structures.
  • •Understanding of how state and local governments buy technology services, including procurement cycles and cooperative vehicle eligibility for B2G acquisition.
  • •Experience advising on procurement strategy pre-solicitation (not just responding to RFPs after release).
  • •Cross-functional collaboration across business development, legal, finance, and contracts to operationalize vehicles and support pursuit strategy.
