Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Produce and present cost plans and estimates through design milestones and update cost plans as needed.
  • •Review cost estimates with design services and general contractor; reconcile changes and ensure contractor data accuracy.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, contingency management, commitment tracking, and cost audits/validations across multiple workstreams.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and support value engineering sessions, funding data presentations, and timely negotiation of final accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5–7+ years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working toward accreditation is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on large-scale, complex construction projects (multi-building/campus-style preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters (procurement routes, value management, and value engineering) and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
