Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and conduct independent engineering work using judgment to evaluate and apply structural engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • •Prepare and modify structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and charts, and monitor work for compliance with codes and accepted engineering practices.
  • •Analyze structural components and design criteria (including geotechnical properties, wind loads, seismic loads, loads, and fire protection) to ensure adequacy of design.
  • •Review loading plans and loading impacts on structural elements to ensure compliance with codes and project operational purpose.
  • •Coordinate with architects and other designers on safe designs, prepare shop drawings and technical packages, and support QA/QC reviews (including tender DWGs vs IFC DWGs) plus HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of working experience with 5+ years relevant structural experience.
  • •Extensive structural knowledge for buildings, heavy civils, and infrastructure works, including reports, designs, and drawings.
  • •Ability to review structural problems/anomalies, determine likely causes, and recommend rectification.
  • •ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills required to succeed in the role.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, plus Profesional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA).
