School Social Worker

Provide social-work support for students and families by maintaining a caseload, conducting brief assessments, and creating action plans. Facilitate family intervention meetings for crisis and multi-dimensional needs, and serve as a point of contact for teachers and administration. Coordinate services with external agencies such as Child Protective Services and the Department of Juvenile Justice, and act as a liaison for ESSA subgroups, McKinney-Vento, and migrant students.
