Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain correct operation of washers within standard operating procedures and operating specifications.
  • •Conduct daily checks and conductivity checks; inspect cans for cleanliness/damage and manage infeed/outfeed handling.
  • •Ensure washcoat process is in specification; carry out running repairs, adjustments, and scheduled maintenance including TC86 + spray bar cleans.
  • •Troubleshoot and perform fault finding on the system; assist the serviceman/service engineer as required for water treatment activities.
  • •Comply with EHS, GMP, and 5S requirements and support quality/food-safety practices, including reporting/recording and liaising with the Shift Manager/Quality Engineer.

Key Requirements

  • •Working knowledge and experience with washer/washer process engineering.
  • •Experience with treatment of chemicals and bulk chemical storage, including chemical segregation (acids/alkalis).
  • •Good all-round mechanical or technical skills, with manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • •Ability to conduct daily checks using standard laboratory equipment and perform conductivity checks.
  • •Forklift truck licence is advantageous and the role requires a strong safety mindset.
