Job Summary

Model, analyze, and optimize high-performance System-on-a-Chip (SoC) designs for data-center workloads including AI, cloud, enterprise, and high-performance computing. Serve as a performance architect in the design engineering team, driving microarchitecture exploration, performance modeling, and bottleneck identification. Execute micro-benchmarking, workload characterization, and competitive analysis, while developing tools and methodologies for performance analysis and communicating solutions to enhance processor and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a Performance Architect in AMD's design engineering team.
•Participate in microarchitecture exploration, performance modeling, and analysis for next-generation SoC components and QoS.
•Deeply understand design architecture and propose performance-enhancing solutions.
•Conduct micro-benchmarking, workload characterization, competitive analysis, bottleneck identification, and optimization.
•Develop tools and methodologies for performance analysis and communicate, propose, and implement improvements to processor and system performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 2,186,520 - 3,123,600 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience with CPU or SoC architecture / microarchitecture.
•Experience developing and using performance models or simulators.
•Experience with computer workload analysis.
•Strong programming skills, especially in C++.
•Keen attention to detail and strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently on challenging engineering problems.
