Key Responsibilities

  • •Embed MAS regulatory expectations and HSBC policies/procedures/audit standards into daily operations to ensure compliance.
  • •Lead day-to-day wealth centre operations and ensure business continuity through effective resource planning and management.
  • •Improve operational efficiency by reviewing workflows/controls, removing bottlenecks, and reducing operational errors/losses.
  • •Demonstrate risk & control ownership through robust controls, accurate record-keeping, and timely closure of internal/external audit and regulator actions.
  • •Drive service excellence by setting/monitoring service standards, tracking performance, closing service gaps, and building a high-performing, engaged team.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years’ banking experience, particularly in branch operations.
  • •Strong leadership capability to develop, direct, and implement plans.
  • •People management experience preferred.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, peers, senior stakeholders, and customers.
  • •Ability to own risk and controls with accurate record-keeping and timely closure of audit/regulator actions.
