Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in Venue Sustainability Crew training.
  • •Assist with mid- and post-show sorting of recycling, composting, and landfill materials.
  • •Be available for event and non-event days (weekdays and weekends) to ensure waste is sorted and diverted.
  • •Assist the Venue Sustainability Manager with educating venue staff and guests on zero waste initiatives.
  • •Maintain a clean sorting area and support post-show pick after each event; complete other as-needed tasks assigned by the manager.

Key Requirements

  • •About 90% of the role involves walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, with about 65% spent sorting materials.
  • •Comfortable sorting recyclables and handling unpleasant odors.
  • •Able to work outdoors in variable weather (rain or shine).
  • •Strong time management to show up on time, including ability to work long or late evening hours.
  • •Team-focused and positive, with a dedication to achieving zero waste (experience with events/zero waste events is a plus).
