Key Responsibilities

  • •Create graphics, illustrations, diagrams, and visual materials for construction outreach and public information.
  • •Develop layouts for construction alerts, detour maps, public meeting boards, fact sheets, project newsletters, mailers, and social media graphics.
  • •Prepare visuals supporting project phasing, lane closures, staging, noise walls, bridge work, access changes, and related construction activities.
  • •Convert engineering information, plan sheets, and technical details into public-friendly graphics and digital materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or an equivalent field
  • •5+ years of experience in visual design or a related field
  • •Experience working at a department of transportation or other government entity
  • •A portfolio demonstrating a range of design techniques and skills
  • •Fluency in PC environments and proficiency in Adobe Creative (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office suites
