Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement metallurgical accounting, including sampling strategy and flows characterization.
  • •Review concentrator design criteria and flowsheet; support integrated operational readiness planning and technical service/ construction schedules.
  • •Develop, coordinate, and oversee geometallurgy programs and testing with geologists, mining engineers, and metallurgists to optimize metallurgical performance.
  • •Assist with operational readiness and concentrator ramp-up, including operator training, development of SOPs for dry processes, and metallurgical reporting.
  • •Build and lead the assay lab team with QA/QC processes; oversee daily metallurgical balance, end-of-month reconciliation, budgets/forecasts, safety procedures, and concentrator R&D after commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering, mineral processing, or chemical engineering.
  • •10+ years of progressive metallurgical experience in a mining/minerals processing setting.
  • •Experience designing and reviewing test programs to support flowsheet design and optimization.
  • •Experience in start-up and commissioning of new equipment and/or facilities.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in concentrator operation and the ability to forecast concentrate production and meet specifications.
