•Perform advanced DBA work: installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migration of PostgreSQL clusters and components.
•Monitor and tune database performance (query optimization, indexing, memory/storage configuration, and OS-level tuning).
•Implement security best practices, manage backup and recovery to meet RPO/RTO, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain database standards and procedures.

•Strong experience with PostgreSQL lifecycle management across environments, high availability and disaster recovery, and data modeling/schema design best practices.
•Experience administering PostgreSQL in hybrid environments and integrating PostgreSQL management into DevOps/DevSecOps workflows, including automation and CI/CD database schema changes/migrations; DoD 8140 IAT II compliant certification.
