Job Summary

Lead operations within a fast-paced settlements processing environment, overseeing workflow and systems performance to meet productivity, quality, and risk goals. Plan capacity intraday, allocate work, and drive continuous improvement and process change while ensuring operational efficiency. Manage team leadership and service delivery, analyze and resolve issues, and maintain HSBC internal control standards, audit point closures, and operational risk controls for securities processing.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage costs/resources to deliver low-cost, high-quality service while minimizing risk and maximizing profit.
•Drive and manage change through process improvements and procedural updates to achieve business goals.
•Ensure daily operational efficiency by overseeing workflows, market-specific requirements/procedures, and systems performance in securities processing.
•Achieve productivity and quality targets by analyzing, resolving/escalating issues, and implementing actions to prevent recurrence.
•Provide leadership to the assigned team and manage operational risk and internal controls, including audit point closure and regulator issue follow-up.

Key Requirements

•Graduate diploma or degree (any discipline) or equivalent experience; higher qualifications considered if aligned with the role.
•Strong financial analysis background; credit and financial statement analysis is highly advantageous.
•Bachelor degree in business, finance, or related discipline.
•Knowledge of MS Excel and Macro is a plus.
•Excellent written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
