Location: Taiwan
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose mechatronics issues across PAS5500/YS/RH/XT modules, including stages/handlers, linear motors, voice-coil actuators, encoders/interferometers, air bearings, and motion assemblies.
  • •Analyze motion errors (following error, overshoot, settling time, stick-slip, friction, backlash/compliance, thermal drift, vibration/resonance) to improve accuracy and stability.
  • •Perform frequency response analysis (Bode/FFT/PSD) to identify system modes and structural/control-mechanical interactions.
  • •Collaborate with Software & Control, Electrical, and Mechanical engineers on servo tuning (PID/gain/feedforward), controller parameters, motion profiles, notch filters, and sensor–actuator integration.
  • •Lead 3rd-line structural fixes and production stability improvements using DOE, data analysis/performance trending, documentation updates, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or Electrical/Control/Automation engineering (or related technical fields).
  • •3–5 years of experience with motion control systems, servo dynamics, stage/handler mechanics, or precision automation equipment.
  • •Hands-on motion tuning experience (PID/feedforward/filtering) and motion diagnostics using PVA/position-velocity-acceleration analysis.
  • •Experience with encoder/sensor integration, calibration/mapping techniques, and vibration/dynamic behavior troubleshooting.
  • •Ability to design experiments and use data to validate root causes; strong cross-domain communication for troubleshooting and collaboration.
