Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical expertise and guide senior leadership on partnerships, innovative financing, artificial intelligence, organizational development, and programme implementation.
  • •Lead development and implementation of strategic, cross-cutting initiatives and special projects across health financing, digital transformation, and AI to advance Centre priorities.
  • •Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective delivery of strategic priorities and a high-performing environment.
  • •Analyze existing and prospective partners, donors, and financing mechanisms; develop concept notes, funding proposals, and partnership initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with Member States and partners; guide negotiation and implementation of partnership agreements and financing arrangements, and oversee grant proposals, donor reports, and investment cases.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international relations, political science, social sciences, communications, marketing, management, financial management, business, or public administration).
  • •At least seven years of relevant experience in health and climate financing, external relations, strategic partnerships, resource mobilization, grants management, or related fields.
  • •Demonstrated achievements in resource mobilization, partnership development, or financing initiatives.
  • •Experience establishing and managing strategic partnerships with major climate and/or public health donors and relevant government and institutional partners (desirable).
  • •Strong analytical and communication capability to design and deliver investment cases, financing strategies, grant proposals, and donor reports.
