Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement AI-driven SOC automation by building agentic workflows and AI agents that triage, enrich, investigate, and respond to security alerts to reduce analyst workload and MTTR.
  • •Translate customers’ SOC processes into automation by mapping Tier 1/2 runbooks into automated and agent-assisted workflows on Torq.
  • •Own technical delivery for strategic accounts end to end, including architecture, build, validation, and handoff, delivering measurable outcomes within weeks.
  • •Engineer integrations across customers’ security stacks (SIEM, EDR/XDR, IdP, ticketing, threat intel) via REST APIs.
  • •Serve as a trusted technical advisor by running working sessions, resolving blockers, and driving adoption with SOC leaders and analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •4–6+ years in a technical security role such as SOC analyst, detection/automation engineer, incident response, or technical Professional Services/Solutions Architect.
  • •Hands-on SOC operational understanding, including alert triage, investigation, escalation, and incident response lifecycle (Tier 1/2).
  • •Experience with core detection tooling: at least one SIEM (Sentinel, Splunk, Chronicle) and one EDR/XDR (CrowdStrike, Defender, SentinelOne).
  • •Automation and integration skills using Python, Bash, or Go, plus REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks (jq/data transformation a plus).
  • •Practical applied AI experience with LLMs and agentic AI, including prompt engineering, agent behavior evaluation, and guardrailing against failure modes like hallucination/over-automation.
