Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain light vehicle fleet and mobile ancillary surface mining equipment in line with work management processes and maintenance schedules.
  • •Monitor recurring faults, provide feedback, and recommend actions to rectify faults.
  • •Inspect vehicles for faults and roadworthiness before returning them to users.
  • •Test vehicles after completion of work before delivery to users.
  • •Trace and correct faults on diesel engines; complete work orders and SAP requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Trade Qualified Light Vehicle Fitter / Mechanic (Australian recognized) with trade in light automotive or diesel mechanic.
  • •3+ years Mobile Maintenance experience desirable but not essential.
  • •Proficiency with Toyota, Isuzu, Hino, Bobcat, and Mitsubishi.
  • •Demonstrated fault finding and diagnostics for mobile mining equipment and diesel engines.
  • •Current driver’s licence; HRWL/HR licence, dogging/rigging, forklift and other tickets are desirable but may be required (dogging, gantry crane, forklift, automotive air conditioning handling).
