Provide 24/7 service engineering support by performing structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems. Collaborate with Service Engineers to investigate on-service issues, perform root cause analysis and corrective actions, and evaluate structural integrity using static strength, durability/fatigue, and damage-tolerance methods. Use classical calculations and finite element methods, document results for certification/qualification, and support gated reviews and in-service product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems as part of an integrated team.
•Collaborate with Service Engineers on root cause analysis and corrective actions for on-service issues for airframe and mechanical systems.
•Conduct detailed structural integrity analysis (static strength, durability/fatigue, and damage tolerance) and determine margins of safety.
•Evaluate structural integrity using classical hand calculations and finite element methods.
•Generate documentation for analysis and test results to support certification/qualification and support gated reviews.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Applied Mechanics/Structural engineering.
•9 to 12 years of proven stress analysis experience in services related to fleet support.
•Experience performing structural analysis of airframe structures.
•Experience with structural analysis of metallic and composite structures.
•Experience using FEM software (e.g., ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, Hyperworks).
