Job Summary

Join our Water Team as a Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to deliver hydraulic models and flood/pollution risk solutions across the UK and internationally. You’ll work in a fully integrated team, mentor colleagues, apply innovative modelling techniques, and produce technical reports while ensuring quality and compliance with modelling standards. Hybrid work in UK/Ireland offices with flexible arrangements.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver: Build hydraulic models and verify sewer networks; support project scoping, flow surveys, and development of catchment-scale solutions for flooding and pollution risks.
•Expertise: Apply new technologies, innovate modelling approaches, and develop scopes and tender responses for clients.
•Documentation: Prepare and present technical reports and documentation communicating modelling findings clearly.
•Lead: Mentor team members and foster positive client relationships.
•Quality: Check hydraulic models, calculations, and reports to ensure quality delivery and compliance with specifications.

Key Requirements

•A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a similar subject.
•Experience in Hydraulic Modelling GIS or Data Analysis, in particular ArcGIS or MapInfo.
•Knowledge of Hydraulic Modelling or Asset management, in particular Innovyze ICM or InfoAsset.
•Proven experience in water consultancy.
•Ability to work autonomously, adapt to deadlines, and collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
