Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
  • •Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on student mastery and prescribed policies.
  • •Maintain gradebooks, monitor student progress, and make placement and promotion decisions while alerting administrators to concerns.
  • •Communicate regularly with students and parents/learning coaches and support troubleshooting in a virtual classroom environment.
  • •Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests and travel occasionally for required school functions and professional development (about once per month / ~20%).

Salary: USD 47,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Michigan Teaching Certification Required with an Elementary endorsement.
