Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections and complete follow-up repairs for vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, HVAC, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines (gas/diesel), and transmissions (manual/automatic).
  • •Inspect, test, and road test defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions and determine accurate repairs.
  • •Manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Document repairs and findings according to company standards, completing DOT forms and uploading repair order information and photos via company tools/app.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as additional education/certification or 5 years’ experience).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen months.
  • •Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical requirements (or submit a qualifying DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity).
  • •Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with ability to maintain the Driver Qualification File.
