Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and manage the finance function for Avolta Japan, including accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • •Ensure compliance with Japanese statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, and maintain governance frameworks and internal controls.
  • •Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and prepare management reporting for the Japan OGM and APAC CFO.
  • •Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis, business case evaluations, and investment assessments.
  • •Build scalable finance processes and controls, including supporting SAP finance processes, reporting, and master data governance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • •10+ years of finance experience, including leading a finance function or acting as a clear No. 2 finance leader.
  • •Strong knowledge of Japanese accounting, tax, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • •Experience working in a multinational company environment.
  • •Hands-on SAP or equivalent ERP experience, with proven accounting, financial controls, reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
