Job Summary

Underwrite and manage credit exposure for Wholesale Banking Middle Market/CML clients, leading commercial underwriting from analysis to documentation. Monitor assigned portfolios, maintain risk-rating integrity, perform annual reviews, and manage amendments and waivers. Partner with internal stakeholders to apply credit policy, pricing, and structure, ensuring data accuracy in loan systems while identifying emerging credit problems and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the full commercial underwriting process, underwrite and document prospect/client transactions, and analyze financial statements and business plans.
•Drive accurate ordering of real estate valuations, environmental assessments, and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) searches while evaluating key risks and compliance requirements.
•Manage assigned portfolio performance by monitoring trends, identifying issues, following remediation, and maintaining risk-rating integrity and annual reviews.
•Handle amendment and waivers within the assigned portfolio and provide independent, forward-looking risk recommendations.
•Apply credit policy, pricing, and structure in client calling efforts, manage data integrity, and review/update loan system information for accuracy.
