Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support to the Principal and Senior Consultant and collaborate with senior and junior team members.
  • •Carry out site-based surveys, assessments, measurements, inspections, and monitoring in relation to BS5837:2012 and tree hazard assessments.
  • •Collate and interpret arboricultural information from desk studies and contribute to technical reports, feasibility studies, arboricultural impact assessments, and method statements.
  • •Liaise with the design team to develop mitigation solutions and contribute to data analysis and project management.
  • •Manage tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work, including project pricing for small sites and supporting recruitment when asked.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Level 3 qualification in arboriculture or a related field.
  • •Professional Tree Inspectors (PTI certificate).
  • •Experience as an arboriculture consultant and/or as a local authority tree officer or similar role.
  • •Experience undertaking arboriculture surveys using digital data capture.
  • •Ability to input to and produce high-quality technical arboriculture reports for planning applications, with knowledge of relevant legislation and survey methodologies.
