Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and utilize the workforce to carry out daily terminal operations for bulk liquid commodity storage and handling, targeting zero injuries and zero preventable releases.
  • •Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and regulatory requirements for safe, efficient, compliant facility operation.
  • •Direct and inspect commodity pumping operations to and from storage tanks and transportation modes; help ensure product integrity to prevent contamination.
  • •Manage daily facility heating system operation, including operation of boilers and electric heat tracing systems per procedures and proper maintenance.
  • •Serve as Incident Commander for incidents/accidents until relieved and take timely action to minimize injury, environmental impact, and property damage.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum two years of leadership/management experience in a dynamic environment.
  • •Exemplary oral and written communication skills and ability to take initiative and lead subordinates to meet goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Ability to work from decentralized instructions (written and verbal) and respond to emergencies as necessary.
  • •Ability to split time between industrial and office environments, work various hours outside the scheduled shift, and make independent decisions under pressure.
  • •Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and complete mandatory drug screening/background check upon hire; obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) as required.
