Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement strategies to reduce unplanned maintenance on mobile plant and ancillary equipment.
  • •Implement equipment reliability best practices including failure reporting, root cause analysis, critical spare inventory management, condition-based maintenance, maintenance audits, performance monitoring, and technician competency assessments.
  • •Provide guidance and support to sites in developing and implementing their own reliability programs.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mining industry best practices for equipment reliability and parts management.
  • •Analyze equipment data and compile regular reports on reliability trends across all sites.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
  • •Proven experience in the mining industry or a heavy equipment maintenance environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems used in heavy equipment.
  • •Experience with condition monitoring techniques such as oil analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
  • •Knowledge of mining safety standards and procedures, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
