Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop new product concept designs meeting customer requirements, including design, process, and safety guidelines using 2D and 3D tools.
  • •Support internal and supplier product design reviews with Electrical Engineering, Product Engineering, Product Quality, Procurement, Product Safety.
  • •Develop systems and procedures for fabrication and testing of lithium-ion batteries, power supplies, and chargers.
  • •Perform mechanical tolerance analysis and DFMEA; clarify and solve design issues.
  • •Support thermal and structural testing by developing test setups and procedures, and release mechanical prints and parts qualification reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • •Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • •Successful mechanical design experience from concept through production release with a focus on DFM.
  • •Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • •Proficiency with 3D CAD and 2D drawings, specifically Pro/E Creo; some knowledge of Adobe Illustrator; basic knowledge of lithium-ion battery, power supply, and charger design/safety.
