Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical pre-sales engagements (executive conversations, workshops, and POCs) alongside Seller to turn client data challenges into validated solutions.
  • •Architect and deliver database migration strategies across re-host, re-platform, re-factor (Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL/DynamoDB), and Oracle/Exadata to ODB@AWS migrations.
  • •Identify repeatable modernization patterns and translate them into scalable, reusable architectural IP, including GenAI-enabled migration accelerators.
  • •Deconstruct complex technical propositions into clear, repeatable solutions that sales teams can execute and clients can trust.
  • •Gather market segment data to build business cases linking current-state infrastructure to desired client outcomes and influence senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience leading database migration and modernization projects, ideally using AWS data services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, DMS, SCT).
  • •Deep proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server), including schema design, query optimization, and replication.
  • •Ability to architect and implement data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows, including scalable integration patterns.
  • •Strong grasp of AWS infrastructure fundamentals such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3 for database workload migration.
  • •Comfort driving end-to-end proof-of-concepts in client-facing, pre-sales settings: scoping, building, validating, and presenting results.
