Job Summary

Drive the mortgage origination experience end to end by evaluating loan applications, verifying creditworthiness, and communicating timelines, pricing, and underwriting requirements. Make outbound calls to guide applicants through documentation, provide updates on approvals and declinations, and coordinate with realtors, builders, and other third parties. Manage a pipeline of qualified leads from SoFi’s lead engine and work to maximize monthly funded loans through process accuracy and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate initial loan applications and documentation to confirm creditworthiness and ability to repay.
•Complete initial analysis of applicants’ credit and income and communicate decisions to applicants.
•Communicate critical origination timelines, product, pricing, and underwriting requirements; ensure applicants receive required documentation.
•Perform outbound calls, communicate suspense/approval/declinations, and coordinate realtors, builders, mobile signers, and other third parties.
•Oversee the loan process through disclosures and closing documents, improve sales/customer service techniques via training, and maximize qualified loans funded monthly.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 12 - 22.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•Professional demeanor and ability to build relationships with applicants from initiation through loan completion.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear, effective phone communication.
•Background in financial services and sales in an inbound or outbound call center.
•Strong pipeline management, time management, and ability to prioritize while meeting critical deadlines.
•Computer literacy with above-average proficiency in MS Office and internet skills, plus the ability to learn multiple systems/workflows.
