Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, organize, administer, and maintain the company EH&S program to reduce accidents and injuries while ensuring efficiency and employee well-being.
  • •Lead hazard identification and safety processes, including JHA/JSA completion and review, daily Lean Safety Gemba, and leadership entry of hazards into Sphera.
  • •Manage incident/accident investigations for near misses and injuries, communicate root-cause actions within 48 hours, and implement corrective actions.
  • •Ensure training and orientation programs are maintained for temporary and full-time employees, and run weekly EH&S meetings with action tracking.
  • •Maintain ISO 14001 and OHS ISO 45001 programs, oversee Management of Change (MOC), and submit monthly and yearly state/federal EH&S reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or a similar field.
  • •3–5 or 5–10 years of professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar roles.
  • •Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations and the ability to produce required environmental/safety reporting.
  • •Strong verbal, written, analytical, and influence skills to work effectively with employees and management.
  • •Experience leading safety events and driving safety improvements on the shop floor and with the leadership team.
