Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead accounting setup, cleanup, and ongoing financial control processes across labels and ventures, including entity structure, intercompany accounting, eliminations, reconciliations, and balance sheet integrity.
  • •Strengthen accounting controls, workflows, and ownership across recurring close, reporting, intercompany, and operational finance processes.
  • •Oversee monthly close and management reporting, including variance analysis and balance sheet reviews, delivering accurate and timely results to stakeholders.
  • •Manage annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning across labels, joint ventures, acquisitions, and new initiatives, aligning plans to operating priorities and profitability targets.
  • •Partner with SME central teams and technology partners to improve financial operations, data quality, metadata workflows, systems integration, and reporting consistency; support deal and investment analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • •10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in music, media, entertainment, or similarly complex multi-entity environments.
  • •Strong technical accounting foundation, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, eliminations, and intercompany accounting.
  • •Advanced financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and analysis skills with the ability to translate insights for senior leaders.
  • •CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus.
