Key Responsibilities

  • •Support delivery of XML/SGML technical data to airframers, airlines, and MRO organizations to enable a digital maintenance data thread.
  • •Provide technical support and change management for content management, publishing, reporting, analytics, and related technical publications systems.
  • •Design, develop, integrate, and implement system enhancements to modernize and automate technical publications experiences.
  • •Develop and manage project plans for technical publications system changes, including requirements definition, risk/dependency management, and continuous improvement.
  • •Participate across the systems development lifecycle and troubleshoot integration/application issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical Communications, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • •Relevant experience in systems engineering, information technology, software/application development, systems integration, or technical publications.
  • •Experience integrating, supporting, and troubleshooting systems in complex technical environments.
  • •Experience with XML/SGML-based technical publications or digital maintenance data and standards such as ATA iSpec 2200 and/or S1000D.
  • •Experience with SQL and relational databases (including Oracle and PL/SQL) and/or digital publishing technologies (XSL/XSLT, HTML, IETP).
