Job Summary

Support the delivery and modernization of digital technical publications for Pratt & Whitney commercial engine programs by integrating and improving systems that manage aircraft maintenance data. Collaborate with software engineers, IT teams, partners, and third-party providers to automate publishing workflows, handle change/content systems, and troubleshoot integration issues across the full systems development lifecycle. Work within the CEE MDSE organization to improve data distribution for airlines and MRO organizations.

Key Responsibilities

•Support delivery of XML/SGML technical data to airframers, airlines, and MRO organizations to enable a digital maintenance data thread.
•Provide technical support and change management for content management, publishing, reporting, analytics, and related technical publications systems.
•Design, develop, integrate, and implement system enhancements to modernize and automate technical publications experiences.
•Develop and manage project plans for technical publications system changes, including requirements definition, risk/dependency management, and continuous improvement.
•Participate across the systems development lifecycle and troubleshoot integration/application issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical Communications, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
•Relevant experience in systems engineering, information technology, software/application development, systems integration, or technical publications.
•Experience integrating, supporting, and troubleshooting systems in complex technical environments.
•Experience with XML/SGML-based technical publications or digital maintenance data and standards such as ATA iSpec 2200 and/or S1000D.
•Experience with SQL and relational databases (including Oracle and PL/SQL) and/or digital publishing technologies (XSL/XSLT, HTML, IETP).
