Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Project Managers and Resident Managers with managing client relations and expectations, including reviewing payment certificates and responding to clarifications.
  • •Review contractors’ claims regarding scope, schedule, and cost changes and submit reports to the Project Manager.
  • •Read and maintain understanding of bill of quantities, preamble, and payment-related documents; review specifications, drawings, and contract documents for measurement-method discrepancies.
  • •Review quantities executed and contractor payment applications against drawings, measurement records, and invoices; develop cost and progress reports as needed.
  • •Monitor contractor work on site (including daily site diary and resource allocation) and support handover deliverables such as As Built drawings, O&M manuals, warranty certificates, commissioning reports, and snag lists.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • •10+ years of experience in the engineering services industry, particularly in quantity surveying.
  • •Demonstrated experience with FIDIC Clauses.
  • •Knowledge of construction supervision services and understanding of international engineering standards and codes.
  • •Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English; PMP certification or chartered professional engineering certification is preferred.
