Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years progressive software engineering experience in aerospace; or a master’s degree with 5+ years experience.
  • •5+ years of experience with RTCA DO-178C certification and related processes (DO-330, DO-331, DO-332, FAA SOI, TCR audits, and TSO certification) for safety-critical embedded systems.
  • •5+ years defining and validating system/software requirements, prototyping application architecture, and performing low-level design and development.
  • •5+ years of experience with ARINC communications, including ARINC 429, 661, 664, and 615A.
  • •5+ years with embedded C programming plus debugging/troubleshooting hardware-software system integration, including avionics software development with Visual Studio and MATLAB Simulink.
