Job Summary

Coordinate and influence governance and reporting functions within Audit Services, delivering comprehensive and timely audit results to key stakeholders, including the Board, regulators, and Truist leadership. Help design and continuously improve audit processes—especially data and reporting—supporting Truist’s strategic objectives. Provide ongoing guidance to 500+ Audit Services teammates and drive special initiatives by resolving issues, mitigating risks, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and provide comprehensive, timely reporting of audit results to the Board, sub-Committees, regulators, and Audit Services management.
•Design, develop, implement, and continuously improve Audit Services processes focused on data and reporting for Truist’s strategic objectives.
•Support 500+ Audit Services teammates with audit internal operations methodologies, policies, procedures, guidance, and responses to questions.
•Design and implement special Audit Services initiatives, solving issues, mitigating risks, and collaborating with initiative tracking and stakeholder reporting.

Salary: USD 130,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent education/training/experience).
•Six or more years of financial institution, auditing, public accounting, or relevant reporting experience.
•Broad understanding of banking industry guidance, including the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards and SR 13-1.
•Ability to design and implement process enhancements for regulatory and supervisory reporting requirements.
•Strong written communication and ability to influence across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
