Job Summary

Emulation and prototyping-focused Product Engineer in AMD’s Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group (AECG) based in Hyderabad, India. Own emulation/prototyping tool flows, collaborate with R&D and customers to improve flows, provide design enablement, validation, and training for FPGA/ACAP platforms (Versal ACAP, UltraScale, SoC families). 8+ years experience and MS equivalent required.

Key Responsibilities

•Own Emulation & Prototyping product area and be the future team champion on high-impact projects with key customers.
•Drive critical customer escalations to closure and contribute to new emulation and prototyping technology rollouts.
•Triaging reported issues across E&P product areas, such as hardware emulation flows, FPGA prototyping platforms, design compilation, and helping address them effectively.
•Explore innovative emulation/prototyping methodologies and their impact on flow and design practices for current/next-generation AMD SoC and Versal ACAP device families.
•Develop and deliver training materials on new emulation/prototyping features, platforms, and methodologies.

Key Requirements

•MS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field
•Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
•Strong knowledge of RTL-based design flows and emulation/prototyping tool flows
•Experience with scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python) is desirable
•Experience collaborating with R&D teams and customers to enable design and prototyping flows
