Job Summary

Provide inpatient and outpatient endocrinology care while delivering evidence-based treatment aligned with medical ethics, CBAHI/JCIA standards, and hospital bylaws. Lead department quality plans using measurable performance-improvement standards, conduct ward rounds, perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, and manage referrals and on-call coverage. Supervise junior medical staff, participate in CME, committees, research, and patient/family education with accurate medical record documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide superior-quality endocrinology medical treatment with compassion and understanding to every patient served.
•Deliver patient care within professional competence and scientifically valid standards, guidelines, and criteria.
•Conduct regular ward rounds with a multi-disciplinary team to formulate treatment plans.
•Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and manage assessment, referral, and acceptance of appropriate patients.
•Provide leadership for departmental performance-improvement, supervise junior staff, participate in CME/committees and patient/family education with proper documentation.

Key Requirements

•Provide endocrinology care for inpatient and outpatient patients within the scope of clinical privileges.
•Minimum five (5) years post-qualification experience.
•Current valid license to practice medicine in the area of specialty and registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and/or current Saudi license.
•Required education: American Board, Canadian Fellowship, MRCP, or equivalent.
•Demonstrate leadership and administrative skills and maintain professional medical ethics and medical bylaws knowledge.
